Hatcham Social – Sidewalk

With snow all over the UK, it’s probably best to stay in doors, but Londoners Hatcham Social have just released one of the stronger tracks off their inspired debut You Dig The Tunnel, I’ll Hide The Soil with “Sidewalk”. Available from 18th January via Fierce Panda, the expanded download version features recent 7” release “Crocodile”, a slithery electro Breton Labs remix of “Sidewalk” and a mindbending mix of the same song by Tom Furse of The Horrors. The seven track EP also features two previously unreleased tracks and their take on the Beach Boys ‘Surfin’ Safari’. Again, a cover choice that’s a little miss-timed for this part of the globe…
