The Big Pink‘s debut album of last year, A Brief History of Love still won’t be denied. A well-crafted amalgamation of ravaged guitar riffs and crisp electronic beats that hit you full-force with some of the sharpened hooks you’ll ever hear. It’s not all crime and punishment, but the dark motif that runs throughout the record reminds you that the brief history of love isn’t all sunshine and roses. With a new single taken from Brief History.. in the form of a reconfigured recording of “Tonight” (the b-side being a show-stealing cover of Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams”), the band have seen fit to offer a 4 track EP of remixes as a free download.
